5. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
You agree to pay all charges associated with your purchase, including applicable taxes. Payments may be processed through Stripe, Substack, or another third-party processor.
By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable processor to charge the payment method you provide.
Payment processors maintain their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, account restrictions, or other actions taken independently by a third-party payment provider.
6. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
Some offerings may be sold as recurring subscriptions.
When you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the subscription price at the stated interval until you cancel.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- Cancellation prevents future renewal charges
- Cancellation does not ordinarily create a refund for a billing period that has already begun
- Access may continue through the end of the paid billing period
Substack subscriptions may also be governed by Substack's applicable terms, billing systems, and cancellation procedures.
7. Digital Products
Digital products may be delivered through a download, email, website, member area, publication platform, or third-party service.
You are responsible for:
- Providing a working email address
- Downloading or accessing materials within any stated access period
- Maintaining compatible equipment and software
- Safeguarding login credentials and download links

8. Consulting and Advisory Services
Consulting services may be governed by a separate proposal, scope of work, invoice, engagement letter, or client agreement.

Nothing in an informal conversation, email, or consultation expands the agreed scope unless confirmed in writing.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Contact us at Julie@julieskye.com before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Initiating a chargeback for a valid purchase does not cancel your obligations under these Terms. We may provide the payment processor with relevant purchase records, delivery records, communications, acceptance of terms, and other evidence concerning the transaction.
10. Intellectual Property
The website and its contents, including essays, photographs, written materials, frameworks, names, graphics, designs, recordings, products, downloads, and educational materials, are owned by or licensed to Freedom Architecture and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing or accessing content gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use it for your own lawful, noncommercial purposes.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- Reproduce or republish substantial portions of the content
- Sell, sublicense, or redistribute materials
- Share paid content or account access

Ordinary sharing of a link to a publicly available page is permitted.
